This is the 2nd tour I did with Rhett, Brian and Gerry.  During this tour, we started the game of trying to get pictures of each other snoozing on the bus.  The European Spotlight tour started in London but since I had done the London part, I met them in Amsterdam a couple days later.  Amsterdam is absolutely beautiful and I could live there.  Rhett and I visited the Heineken Factory where we both thought it was good straight out of the tap.  Next stops were Heidelberg (Germany), Innsbruck (Austria), Venice (Italy), Lucerne (Switzerland) and ended in Paris.

For me, the highlight of this trip was Lucerne doing the lake tour and going up Mt. Pilatus.  We took a cable car up to the top where we were above the clouds overlooking Lucerne and the lake.  It was a clear day and we had a couple hours up there so I took a hike to the highest point.  There were cows on the mountain side and their bells playing a little jingle for me while hiking.  Just beautiful!  I'd love to go back there someday to really explore the other trails.

One of the funniest things on the trip was when we were on the bus heading to Moulin Rouge and Gerry was trying to take a picture of the building. She was across the aisle on the bus trying to take the picture with her phone and she kept ducking out of the way when it was in selfie mode, which Brian had changed it earlier that day.  It was hard for me to help her because I was laughing so hard.  I still like to tease her about that. Too funny!
